The active speakers of the Economy series are the perfect all-round speakers for semi-professional use. Besides the option to connect a microphone or a direct line signal, the active 2-way speakers can even play MP3 files from USB and SD as well as via Bluetooth®.

12" Speakers with 1.0" Compression Driver

The membranes housed in the sturdy plastic enclosure are powered by the built-in amplifier with 120 watts of power. By splitting the audio signal to the two speakers at 2.8 kHz, a clear, powerful sound image with excellent presence is created.

Connection Options

One mic input (XLR or 6.35 mm jack) is available for direct operation with dynamic microphones. The second channel serves for wired use of e.g. laptop and MP3 player via RCA or line signals from e.g. mixing console (XLR). Both channels have separate volume controls and the summed signal can even be sent to another speaker via the MIX OUT output.

Media Player and Bluetooth® Receiver

A handy feature for casual DJs and party hosts: the integrated media player plays music from USB sticks and SD cards, which can be controlled directly from the player and infrared remote control. The wireless option works via a Bluetooth® connection, allowing music to be streamed from smartphones and tablets to the speaker. Whether music is currently played from the media player or the aux input can be selected with the MP3/AUX button.

Equalizer and Speaker Flange

An easy-to-use 2-band equalizer quickly and effectively adapts the speaker’s sound to the current environment. The zero positions of both controls have detents for easy return to neutral. To mount the speaker on a conventional speaker stand, there is a 35 mm speaker flange with clamping screw on the bottom, which secures the speaker against accidental twisting.

The practical stands ensure a secure footing for your speakers with their stable tripod design, whether on stage, in the rehearsal room, or clubs. Various adjustment options guarantee maximum flexibility in positioning and an additional metal pin, attached to the stand with a nylon strap, additionally secures the stand against accidental speaker falls.
