We built our reputation by designing great analog circuits for critical studio recording environments, and we poured all that experience into the design of the StudioLive 64S digital mixer. In 1995, PreSonus patented digital control of analog circuits with our first studio product. Building on that legacy, we created a separate digital volume control ahead of our acclaimed analog XMAX microphone preamp, delivering the convenience of digital recall without compromising playback fidelity. This allows the StudioLive 64S mic preamps to be remotely controlled via UC Surface software or Studio One. When you load a StudioLive 64S mixer scene, you can recall the mic preamp trim values along with other settings.

Create the Buses and Groups You Need

The StudioLive 64S digital mixer was designed by PreSonus specifically for your changing needs, whether mixing in the studio or on a busy festival stage. Its 32 FlexMixes can be individually configured to act as aux buses, subgroups, or matrix mixes. Eight dedicated effects buses plus stereo and mono main buses combine with an independent solo bus for a total of 43 mix buses. We also offer 24 DCAs to make controlling channel groups easier and more flexible. The independent main mono bus can be configured with individual channel sends to feed a subwoofer or as a center channel in an LCR system, with center divergence control for each channel to position your pan locations more precisely.

The StudioLive Series III digital mixers integrate the concept of an analog patchbay and digitize it. This lets you patch any analog input or digital return (AVB, USB, or SD card) to any channel to customize your mix configuration. With Digital Patching, you can quickly and easily route the AVL audio network from your AVB audio network and download from there when using the StudioLive 64S as part of a complete network audio system.
