RØDE NT5-S - 1/2\" Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The RØDE NT5 is a pencil condenser microphone with a cardioid polar pattern. It is commonly used to capture acoustic instruments, as a drum overhead, for cymbals and in live applications. This externally polarized microphone features a 1/2\" capsule and an active J-FET impedance converter with a two-pole output buffer. Its narrow cardioid pattern also makes it suitable for dialogue recording using a microphone stand or a boom pole in the film studio.
If required, the NT5 can be fitted with an optional omnidirectional capsule (NT45-O). The NT5 features a satin-nickel body and is also available as an acoustically matched pair. The NT5 is manufactured in Australia and qualifies for a free extension of the RØDE warranty to 10 years.
