RØDE NTG-1 - Professional Shotgun Microphone With Battery Operation!
The RØDE NTG2 is a featherlight condenser shotgun microphone for professional film, video, television and other production applications. With its wide frequency range, low self-noise and detailed audio quality, it excels at film and dubbing tasks. And thanks to a weight of only 161 g, using a boom pole won't cause fatigue. The frequency response is 20 Hz–20 kHz, but can be limited with the 80 Hz high-pass filter when you want to avoid low-frequency noise.
The NTG2 can be powered either by an AA battery (1.5 V) or by P48 phantom power, which is supplied by professional cameras, audio recorders and external power units. Battery operation makes the NTG2 suitable for use with a DSLR camera, which typically does not provide phantom power. A WSVM windscreen to reduce wind noise and plosives is included. For outdoor use, an optional DeadCat fur windjammer is recommended. The RØDE NTG2 is made in Australia and allows the free extension of the RØDE warranty to 10 years.
