With the Drumset Session 1, AKG offers a complete microphone set specially designed for drummers. It includes seven microphones perfectly tuned to the individual components of a drumset. This set is equally suitable for stage, rehearsal room, and studio recordings.

All included microphones feature a robust metal housing with a spring steel grill and a scratch-resistant surface. This means a missed hit won’t cause damage right away. Daily use on stage is no problem either; the roadworthy aluminum case safely transports everything from gig to gig.

The excellent selection allows flexible use of the microphones. Four dynamic P4s are available for toms and snare. Two P17 condenser microphones are classically used as overheads or provide a special groove on hi-hat and snare. The P2 on the kick drum delivers solid punch and impact.
