AKG Session I Drum Microphone Set!
With the Drumset Session 1, AKG offers a complete microphone set specially tailored for drummers. It contains seven microphones that are perfectly matched to the individual components of a drum set. This set is equally suitable for stage, rehearsal room, and studio recordings.
All included microphones feature a sturdy metal housing with a spring-steel grille and a scratch-resistant finish. That means a missed hit won't immediately cause damage. Daily stage use is no problem either—the roadworthy aluminum case gets everything safely from gig to gig.
The excellent selection lets you use the microphones flexibly. Four dynamic P4s are provided for toms and snare. Two P17 condenser microphones are used as classic overheads, or add special groove to the hi-hat and snare. The P2 on the kick drum delivers solid weight and punch.
With the Drumset Session 1 you get a comprehensive microphone collection that offers far more applications than just drum recording: percussion, brass instruments, acoustic guitar and guitar amps, even choir recordings are just a few examples of what you can achieve with these professional tools.
