The mount's gooseneck is extremely flexible and allows exact positioning while maintaining a secure hold.
Cardioid Or Optional Supercardioid
The Beta 98H/C features an extremely uniform cardioid polar pattern. That reduces feedback while suppressing unwanted ambient noises such as nearby instruments.
For changing stage and monitoring requirements, an optional supercardioid capsule (RPM110) is available and can be swapped in seconds.

The Beta 98 is also available in other versions: as a snare drum microphone with a special rim mount (Beta 98D/S or Beta 98AD/C), with an integrated preamp (Beta 98AMP/C), or as the microphone element only (Beta 98S or Beta 98A/C).
