ELATION expands its KL "Key Light" series of LED Fresnel fixtures with the full-color-spectrum KL Fresnel 4 FC, which meets the highest demands for light quality and low noise emissions.
The KL Fresnel 4 FC was developed for TV and film, theater, trade shows and any other AV application that requires soft light with high output, precise color rendition and adjustable color temperature. The KL Fresnel 4 FC produces the soft fill light designers want to confidently showcase performers or sets on stage. With a wide range of saturated colors, subtle pastels and dynamic white light, it is an ideal key and fill light for situations demanding excellent performance and color quality.
The KL Fresnel 4 FC delivers top-tier light quality with dynamic color temperature adjustment and full color control. It features a highly efficient 80-watt RGBMA LED engine calibrated to 6,500 Kelvin that emits very diffuse light. The fixture produces over 2,200 lumens and has a manual zoom range of 10° to 45° for easy beam-size adjustment. For more precise shaping with less spill, adjustable and removable 8-leaf barn doors allow individual tailoring of the light cone.
Color rendering is of the highest quality with a CRI of 92, a TM30 of 88 and a TLCI of 95, making it extremely accurate both to the eye and to the camera. Like all KL series fixtures, the KL Fresnel 4 FC operates very quietly to meet the demands of stage and studio.
Optimized for broadcast requirements, the KL Fresnel 4 FC can be adapted to any camera via green/magenta adjustment and white balance. Additionally, the PWM frequency can be set up to 25 kHz so that no flicker occurs even when using high-speed cameras.
The fixture is DMX controllable, supports RDM and offers intuitive manual control for stand-alone operation to set zoom, intensity, color temperature, green/magenta adjustment, colors and other key settings directly. The display and control encoders are easily accessible on the side of the unit.
The KL Fresnel 4 FC is lightweight and robust to withstand the rough handling on today's fast-paced sets.
