Mixing and Scratching

Thanks to the large, latency-minimized platters of the DJ-202, which are unrivaled in their price class, scratches and cues work flawlessly. Dedicated controls for Serato DJ Intro allow quick creation and triggering of hot cues, loops, and samples, as well as switching between the four decks via the deck select button. Use the channel filters or Serato FX (selectable via three FX buttons per deck) to refine transitions or accentuate scratches. With dedicated play/pause and cue buttons, you have the same direct control found on high-end controllers and standalone audio players.

Bring Vocals to Life

With the 6.3mm jack microphone input including internal reverb and echo effects, you can make your DJ vocals, radio drops, guest vocals, or external instruments really come alive. Additional vocal effects include a low-cut EQ for fine-tuning your sound and a noise gate that automatically mutes sound artifacts and unwanted noise.

Remix, Produce, Perform

Use the TR drums or load your own sounds into the four sample slots of the Serato sampler (with individual sampler volume control) to create the foundation for remixes, beats, and live performances. Then program these with the DJ-202’s 16-step sequencer (available via the performance pads) and automatically sync everything with your Serato library to create unique transitions, live remixes, or enhanced classic tracks.

Use the Inst-Rec mode for spontaneous real-time sequencing with the Serato sampler or use the MIDI output to seamlessly synchronize any external MIDI device and instrument with your sequencer and Serato DJ. Upgrading to Serato DJ gives you even more production capabilities, including 32 synchronizable sampler slots across four banks, the complete collection of iZotope effects, software recording functions, and more.
