The DDJ-REV series is a new line of DJ controllers with layouts that emulate a professional DJM-S mixer + PLX turntable setup, including special features for open-format and scratch DJs.

The DDJ-REV1 pairs perfectly with the free DJ software Serato DJ Lite and offers a brand-new battle-style layout that’s easy to use and ideal for DJing like a pro. The design of this 2-channel DJ controller emulates a pro setup of DJM-S mixer and PLX turntables, including special features for open-format and scratch DJs.

Brand-New Battle-Style Layout

DJ with an interface that emulates a setup of 2 PLX turntables and a DJM-S series mixer—the kind of setup pro battle DJs use. Thanks to the new control arrangement on the DDJ-REV1, there’s plenty of room for mixing and scratch techniques. The tempo sliders are 60 millimeters longer than on the DDJ-SB3, giving you finer control, and they’re arranged horizontally above the decks, while the performance pads have been moved to the mixer section so you can intuitively combine effects, trigger samples, and scratch your tracks.

Larger Jog Wheels

The bigger the jog wheels, the better for scratching. The jogs on the DDJ-REV1 are the same size as those on the DDJ-SR2, a popular controller in our range that’s quite a bit more expensive.

Lever FX

With Lever FX, you dynamically add texture to your music. You can pull the effect levers down and hold them to briefly apply Serato DJ Lite effects, or push them up to lock effects and free your hands for scratching or searching tracks.

Tracking Scratch: Get Help While Scratching

The "Tracking Scratch" function silently rewinds the music to the cue point the moment you move the jog wheel backward or lift your hand. This means you don’t have to lower the fader and find the right moment to start scratching. Simply select the Tracking Scratch Pad mode, hit a performance pad to choose a crossfader pattern, and then operate the jog wheel.

Mic Audio in the Mix: Easily Add Your Voice While Streaming

For the first time in a Pioneer DJ controller of this class, the master output signal is mixed with the microphone signal when one is connected. This means you don’t need external devices like a sound card or separate mixer if you want to add your voice or vocals to your performance and route it through your computer. All sounds are sent to Serato DJ Lite, so you can stream directly from there.

Serato DJ Lite Integration: Make Full Use of the Free Software

Once you’ve downloaded Serato DJ Lite on your PC/Mac, just connect the DDJ-REV1 via the included USB cable and start DJing. Enjoy tactile control of various functions and effects in the software by using the buttons, knobs, faders, and jog wheels on the controller.

With the Scratch Bank Pad mode, you can instantly load scratch samples from 4 banks assigned in Serato DJ Lite or Pro simply by tapping the corresponding scratch bank button.
