The DDJ-REV series is a new line of DJ controllers with layouts that emulate a professional DJM-S mixer + PLX turntable setup, including special features for open-format and scratch DJs.

The DDJ-REV1 perfectly matches the free DJ software Serato DJ Lite and offers a brand-new battle-style layout that’s easy to use and ideal for performing like a pro. The design of this 2-channel DJ controller emulates a pro setup consisting of a DJM-S mixer and PLX turntables, including special features for open-format and scratch DJs.

Brand-New Battle-Style Layout

Perform with an interface that emulates a setup of 2 PLX turntables and a DJM-S series mixer—the kind of setup pro battle DJs use. Thanks to the new control arrangement on the DDJ-REV1, there’s plenty of room for mixing and scratch techniques. The tempo sliders are longer than on the DDJ-SB3 at 60 millimeters, giving you finer control, and they’re arranged horizontally above the decks, while the performance pads have been moved to the mixer section so you can intuitively combine effects, trigger samples, and scratch your tracks.

Larger Jogwheels

The bigger the jogwheels, the better for scratching. The jogs on the DDJ-REV1 are the same size as those on the DDJ-SR2, a popular controller from our lineup that’s quite a bit more expensive.

Beat FX

With the BEAT FX function, you apply effects to the currently playing track with perfectly matched tempo. This lets even beginners create unique sets.

Tracking Scratch: Get Help While Scratching

The "Tracking Scratch" function silently rewinds the music to the cue point the moment you move the jogwheel backward or remove your hand. This means you don’t have to lower the fader or find the exact moment to start scratching. Simply select the Tracking Scratch Pad mode, hit a performance pad to choose a crossfader pattern, and then operate the jogwheel.

Microphone Audio in the Mix: Easily Add Your Voice While Streaming

For the first time in a Pioneer DJ controller of this class, the master output signal is mixed with the microphone signal when one is connected. This means you don’t need external devices like a sound card or separate mixer if you want to add your voice or vocals to your performance and route it through your computer. All sounds are sent to Serato DJ Lite, so you can stream directly from there.

Serato DJ Lite Integration: Make Full Use of the Free Software

Once you’ve downloaded Serato DJ Lite on your PC/Mac, simply connect the DDJ-REV1 via the included USB cable and start DJing. Enjoy tactile control of various functions and effects in the software by using the buttons, knobs, faders, and jogwheels on the controller.

With the Scratch Bank Pad mode, you can instantly load scratch samples from 4 banks assigned in Serato DJ Lite or Pro by simply tapping the corresponding Scratch Bank button.
