The Crown XLS 1502 DriveCore 2 is the successor to the successful first DriveCore generation. It delivers 2x 525 Watt at 4 Ohm. Thanks to its neutral sound, outstanding dynamics and enormous headroom, it is extremely versatile.
Typical applications for the Crown XLS 1502 are PA systems, live events, small clubs and discos, AV applications, cinema or home theater, installations (churches, schools, town halls, multipurpose halls). Above all, it is very lightweight — it weighs only 3.9 kg. The low weight is due to the patented DriveCore 2 circuit design. Functions of many components have been consolidated onto a single chip.
The energy management is unique. By recovering energy, Crown XLS amplifiers operate especially efficiently. This makes the amplifier more powerful than conventional amplifiers. New features include a sleep mode and a power trigger for external on/off control of the power amplifier.
The large display shows all parameters clearly. The blackout function, new menu navigation and lockout mode make operation simple and secure.
