Very Lightweight Power Amplifier!
The Crown XLS 2002 DriveCore 2 is the successor to the successful first DriveCore generation. It delivers 2x 650 Watt at 4 Ohm. Thanks to its neutral tone, excellent dynamics and enormous headroom, it is extremely versatile.
Typical applications for the Crown XLS 2002 are PA systems, live events, small clubs and discos, AV, cinema or home theater, and installations (churches, schools, town halls, multipurpose halls).
Above all, it is very lightweight. It weighs only 4,9 kg. The reason for the low weight is the patented DriveCore 2 circuit design. Many component functions have been integrated onto a single chip.
What sets it apart is the energy management. Through energy recovery the Crown XLS amplifiers operate particularly efficiently, making them more powerful than conventional amplifiers. New are the sleep mode and a power trigger for externally switching the amplifier on and off.
All parameters are clearly shown on the large display. The blackout function, new menu navigation and lockout mode make operation simple and secure.
