Radial Engineering ProDI - Passive DI Box

The ProDI is a passive DI box designed for stage and home studio use. It can handle instruments with high output levels without distortion and features a transformer-isolated output to prevent noise caused by ground loops.

The heart of the ProDI is a specially wound Radial transformer. It offers an exceptionally high input impedance of 140 kO to reduce load and allows the ProDI to process extreme signal levels across all frequencies without distortion. This is further enhanced by an internal MuMETAL shield that protects against electromagnetic fields, which can cause distortion in unshielded transformers.

ProDI with Electric Bass

The ProDI is ideal for devices with high output levels like active bass guitars. It can handle the enormous signal levels from active pickups without distortion, and the transformer isolation prevents hum from ground loops. The ProDI delivers the pure tone of the bass to the PA and the bassist’s amplifier.

ProDI with Acoustic Guitar

Acoustic guitars sometimes have sharp-sounding active preamps. The ProDI naturally smooths transients for a warmer tone. And since the ProDI can handle loud signals from active pickups, the signal remains clean. This makes it perfect for acoustic guitars.
