The Yamaha PSR-SX620 is a versatile arranger workstation and powerful arranger keyboard for stage, rehearsal, home studio and creative music making. With 61 velocity-sensitive keys, 1,002 instrument voices plus 51 drum/SFX kits, 128-note polyphony and 450 auto-accompaniment styles, this digital workstation delivers a wide sonic palette for many musical genres. Two freely assignable live-control knobs, a joystick controller, chord looper, Smart Chord and multi pads give you direct performance control. Bluetooth audio, USB audio, an integrated audio recorder and a robust speaker system with 15 W + 15 W make the PSR-SX620 flexible for practice, live use and music production.

Expressive Sounds and Dynamic Styles

The AWM Stereo Sampling sound engine produces detailed instrument tones and high musical versatility. Presets include 137 S.Articulation! voices that reproduce the characteristic articulations of acoustic instruments with exceptional realism, plus 34 MegaVoice sounds. In total you get 1,002 voices, 51 drum/SFX kits and an additional 480 XG voices. With 450 styles — including 416 Pro Styles, 33 Session Styles and 1 Free Play Style — you get automatic accompaniments for many genres. Four One Touch Settings per style give you quick access to matching sound and performance setups.

Direct Control for Live Play and Sound Design

The redesigned control panel supports a fast, intuitive workflow. Two assignable live-control knobs allow real-time shaping of tone, effects and style parameters. The joystick gives you direct pitch and modulation control so you can add dynamic nuances to your playing. The 4.3" TFT color display with 480 x 272 pixels shows sounds, styles and settings clearly. Extensive reverb, chorus, DSP, EQ and compressor functions give you extra tools for precise sound design.

Chord Looper, Smart Chord and Multi Pads

The chord looper lets you record and play back chord progressions in real time. You can store up to eight chord sequences per bank so your left hand can stay free for melodies, piano parts or other performance tasks. Smart Chord generates full, appropriate chords from a played root note, easing the way into professional backing arrangements. Additionally, 226 multi-pad banks with four pads each are available. Via Audio Link you can also load your own WAV audio files for custom samples and performance elements.

Powerful Sound with Built-in BassPort

The newly developed speaker system combines two 12 cm speakers with amplifier power of 15 W + 15 W. An integrated BassPort, an enlarged internal resonance chamber and a forward-facing bass-reflex design support powerful, balanced reproduction of low frequencies. Separate line outputs are available for connection to external active speakers or a PA system. The optimized output circuitry ensures a clean, punchy audio signal for live performances, rehearsals and recordings.

Bluetooth, USB and Recording

Bluetooth 5.0 audio enables wireless streaming from compatible smartphones, tablets or other source devices, so you can play songs directly through the instrument and perform along. USB TO HOST with USB Type-C and USB TO DEVICE with USB Type-A expand connection options for computers and USB storage. The integrated USB audio interface operates at 44.1 kHz, 16 bit, stereo. The audio recorder supports WAV recordings with a maximum recording time of 80 minutes per song. MIDI song recording, time stretch, pitch shift and vocal cancel functions are also available.

Expandable Music Workstation

For additional sounds and styles the PSR-SX620 supports Yamaha Expansion Packs and offers around 380 MB of memory for expansion voices. The EXPANSION EXPLORER app makes it easy to search, manage and install new expansion content on compatible platforms. With the MIDI Song to Style application standard MIDI files can also be converted into playable styles with intros, endings, variations and fill-ins. This lets you adapt the arranger workstation flexibly to your repertoire and personal music style.

Keyboard Bag

The Classic Cantabile keyboard bag is made from especially durable, double-spun woven fabric. This special construction guarantees high tear- and water-resistance. The bag's generous padding provides excellent protection for your instrument. The bag can be carried using the hook-and-loop handle or the practical backpack straps. Four outer pockets also provide plenty of room for sheet music and accessories.

Keyboard Stand

This X keyboard stand adjusts quickly and easily to 5 different heights via a quick-release. That lets everyone find an ergonomic, comfortable playing position. The robust rubber sleeves provide absolutely slip-free, scratch-resistant support. All metal parts have a durable powder coating for long life. For space-saving transport and storage the X keyboard stand can be disassembled. The required hex key is included.

Keyboard Bench

Despite its compact dimensions, the Classic Cantabile keyboard bench offers excellent seating comfort. The padded top is covered with elegant black faux leather and can be cleaned easily when needed. The bench is height-adjustable in three positions via a screw connection at the X-shaped legs. When setting up, one leg is simply hooked under the seat and fixed with two screws. Rubber feet provide a non-slip stance.

Comfortable Stereo Headphones

The KH-238 delivers full, balanced sound with rich bass and clear highs. It offers plenty of volume while maintaining precise stereo imaging. The softly padded, wide headband is length-adjustable. The extension provides 12 steps per side for optimal fit. For extra comfort the ear cups are mounted on a two-axis swivel. Thick, soft padding around the ear cups provides good external noise isolation. The in-line volume control is always within reach and makes the headphones convenient to use with a PC or MP3 player. The 3.5 mm stereo plug delivers excellent transmission characteristics and a 6.3 mm stereo adapter is included.
