The Luna HD design speaker set from Edifier proves: sound can not only sound excellent but also look stunning. The Bluetooth sound system blends discreetly into its surroundings with its harmonious design and delivers impressive sound experiences with a total output power of 74 watts RMS.
Audio tracks can be conveniently played via Bluetooth from smartphones, tablets, or other Bluetooth-enabled devices. Thanks to the built-in amplifier, the Luna HD, available in red, black, and white, can be connected directly to a PC or TV.
Sound
Each design speaker features an 8.2cm full-range driver and a 19mm tweeter, each with its own amplifier, delivering a balanced and crystal-clear sound. Instead of a bass reflex port, which can cause distortion and air noise at high volumes, each speaker is equipped with two passive bass membranes measuring 8.2cm in diameter. This targeted bass boost produces even more powerful bass.
Functions and Operation
The Luna HD is operated via touch-sensitive surfaces on the side of the active speaker or via the included infrared remote control. When playing audio via the combined AUX/optical input, the volume can be adjusted and the device turned on and off using the buttons on the speaker side.
In Bluetooth mode, the control options expand: with the swipe motion function (finger swipes), you can skip to the previous or next track and disconnect the Bluetooth connection.
Inputs
Various audio sources can be connected via a combined AUX/optical input. Additionally, music stored on a smartphone, tablet, or notebook can be conveniently played via Bluetooth. Establishing the Bluetooth connection to the Edifier Luna HD is extremely simple and very fast.
