The Luna HD design speaker set from Edifier proves that great sound can also look spectacular. The Bluetooth sound system blends unobtrusively into its surroundings with its harmonious design and delivers impressive listening experiences with a total of 74 Watts RMS output power.
You can stream audio tracks conveniently via Bluetooth from a smartphone, tablet or other Bluetooth-enabled devices. Thanks to the built-in amplifier, the Luna HD, available in red, black and white, can be connected directly to a PC or TV.
Sound
Each design speaker features an 8.2 cm full-range driver and a 19 mm tweeter, each with its own amplifier, delivering a balanced and crystal-clear sound. Instead of a bass-reflex port, which can introduce distortion and air-flow noise at high levels, each speaker uses two passive bass radiators with an 8.2 cm diameter. This targeted bass boost produces even more powerful, punchy lows.
Features and Operation
You control the Luna HD via touch-sensitive panels on the side of the active speaker or with the supplied infrared remote. When playing audio through the combined AUX/optical input, the touch panels on the speaker let you adjust the volume and power the unit on and off.
In Bluetooth mode, the control options expand: the swipe-motion function (finger swipes) lets you skip to the previous or next track and disconnect Bluetooth.
Inputs
A combined AUX/optical input allows various audio sources to be connected. You can also play music stored on a smartphone, tablet or notebook conveniently via Bluetooth. Pairing the Edifier Luna HD over Bluetooth is extremely simple and happens very quickly.
