Wireless Sound That Blends Subtly Into the Garden!

The McGrey SSB-420 GY/ED set pairs two active Bluetooth garden speakers in a distinctive, angular stone-look housing with 2 x 8 Watt output, each featuring a 4" driver, Bluetooth 5.4 and an IPX5 water-resistant design. A 2600 mAh battery, up to 10 hours runtime and a charging time of only approx. 2 hours provide flexible playback outdoors. For stereo sound, the included pair can be linked via TWS, while Multi-Link enables connection to additional speakers.

2 x 8 Watt For Impressive Outdoor Sound

Each speaker houses a 4" driver and delivers 8 Watt of power. Together the pair provides 2 x 8 Watt, making it ideal for musical accompaniment on the patio, balcony or in the garden. The Class-D amplifier, tuned specifically for outdoor use, combines efficient operation with a compact enclosure. With a frequency response of 90 Hz to 12,000 Hz and a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 80 dB, the system delivers a balanced foundation for music, podcasts and other audio content.

Bluetooth 5.4, TWS And Multi-Link

With Bluetooth 5.4 you connect your smartphone, tablet or another compatible source wirelessly to the master speaker. The pairing name is SSB-420. The range between the source device and the master is up to 10 m. For true stereo sound, the two supplied speakers are paired via TWS. If you want to cover a larger area, Multi-Link lets you connect additional speakers to the master. Each link speaker should be within 10 m of the master. That makes the system suitable as a flexibly expandable garden or outdoor speaker solution for larger outdoor areas.

Easy Connection And Clear Status Indicators

The operation is deliberately straightforward. One speaker acts as the master and establishes the Bluetooth connection to the playback device, while additional speakers can be added as link speakers. The integrated LEDs indicate Bluetooth pairing, Multi-Link connection and charging status. After a successful Bluetooth connection, the speaker can automatically reconnect to the known playback device on later use. The system automatically powers off after 10 minutes of inactivity.

Up To 10 Hours Of Music With Short Charging Time

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 3.7 V / 2600 mAh and provides up to 10 hours of playback. When a recharge is needed, charging is conveniently done via USB-C at DC 5 V. With a charging time of only approx. 2 hours, the rock speaker is quickly ready for use again. Two charging cables are already included so both speakers can be charged conveniently.

Distinctive Stone Look For Subtle Integration

The ED version features a more angular, sharply contoured rock shape. This makes the grey enclosure resemble a compact stone, allowing discreet placement among plants, near seating areas or on the patio. Rather than standing out like a classic Bluetooth speaker, the rock speaker visually blends into the garden environment. The IPX5 water-resistant design is specifically tailored for outdoor use. In this way the SSB-420 combines the functions of a Bluetooth speaker, outdoor speaker and garden speaker with a decorative stone look.
