Works Even in the Rain
The IP56 protection rating indicates the OLS-651's suitability for outdoor use. The so-called IP code (International Protection Code) specifies an electronic device's resistance to certain temperatures, moisture, vapors, dust and other conditions. IP56 means the OLS-651 is protected against powerful water jets and the enclosure also provides full protection against contact. Furthermore, dust—even in amounts that would normally cause damage—cannot harm this device.
70/100V Option
The OLS-651 outdoor cabinet can be connected to all conventional HiFi and PA amplifiers; additionally, there is the option to operate the speaker on public address systems at either 70 or 100 volts. The required power level is adjusted via a rotary control.
Robust Wall-Mounted Speaker
The McGrey cabinet can be easily mounted to the wall using the mounting bracket. The speaker is designed to rotate 90° vertically and 170° horizontally, so the OLS-651 offers maximum flexibility. At the same time the speaker is rugged and built to be a long-term musical companion. The mounting bracket and grille are made from aluminum, while the enclosure is made of durable plastic.

The McGrey OLS speaker is available not only in black and white: it also comes in two different sizes (5.25" and 6.5" woofers), each with different power ratings.
