The SMSL A100 stereo amplifier combines modern Class-D technology, high efficiency and flexible connectivity in an exceptionally compact chassis. With the Infineon MA12070 amplifier chip, the Mini Amplifier delivers a powerful output of 2 x 80 Watt at 4 Ohm or 2 x 40 Watt at 8 Ohm. Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX and AAC, USB-A audio, stereo-cinch and subwoofer pre-outs make the A100 a versatile solution for HiFi, desktop audio, 2.1 setups and modern wireless music applications.

Efficient Class-D Amplification

The SMSL A100 uses a modern Infineon MA12070 Class-D amplifier chip with MERUS architecture. This technology provides efficient power delivery with up to 92% efficiency. That reduces power consumption while enabling clear, dynamic and detailed playback. The stereo amplifier is ideal for passive speakers in the living room, at the desk, in studio environments or as a compact HiFi hub.

Strong Power for Compact Systems

With 2 output channels and a rated power of 2 x 80 Watt at 4 Ohm, the A100 offers enough headroom for many speaker configurations. At 8 Ohm the amplifier delivers 2 x 40 Watt. The signal-to-noise ratio of 103 dB, channel separation of 88 dB and low distortion of 0.005% support clean, precise and low-noise audio reproduction. The sound remains controlled, transparent and pleasantly immediate.

Bluetooth, USB and Cinch

A Bluetooth 5.0 receiver is integrated for wireless streaming. aptX and AAC deliver good audio quality, stable signal transmission and convenient use with smartphone, tablet or notebook. Additionally, a USB-A audio input is available that can be used driver-free. The stereo-cinch input allows connection of classic sources such as a DAC, CD player, streamer or preamplifier.

Subwoofer Outputs for 2.1 and 2.2 Systems

The SMSL A100 features 2 subwoofer pre-outs via stereo-cinch. This makes integrating an active subwoofer particularly easy, creating a compact 2.1 or 2.2 sound system with extended low-end. Especially with small bookshelf speakers, desktop speakers or compact HiFi setups, this expansion provides more foundation, extra punch and a fuller sound image.
