The Planar 6’s plinth is built around an ultralight Tancast 8 polyurethane foam core, sandwiched between two layers of high-pressure laminated surfaces. This sandwich design drastically reduces unwanted resonances and yields an uncoloured, neutral sound. Rubber feet and the carefully engineered base structure minimise vibrations — providing a rock-solid platform even at high volumes.
