Everything You Need to Get Started Playing Guitar!
This great starter set is perfect for beginners! Whether in music class, at band rehearsal, on stage or around the campfire, the AS-861 brings joy everywhere. Only carefully selected materials are used for AS-861 guitars. The laminated top and body produce a beautiful, warm tone and the neatly crafted bridge transmits the strings' vibrations down to the smallest detail even with a gentle finger touch. The smooth-running tuning machines also ensure excellent tuning stability.
Classic Appearance
The AS-861 stands out visually with its bright natural top and dark-tinted body. The intricately worked rosette, the attractive decorative tuning machines and the understated headstock complete the overall look.
Which Guitar Size Is Right?
The scale length indicates a guitar's size — more precisely, the vibrating string length between nut and bridge. The standard scale length is 650 mm and corresponds to a full-size (4/4) guitar. All other sizes are therefore smaller and are recommended for children and teenagers.
Our Recommendations for Scale Length Based on Age and Height:
| 1/4 Size | Age 4 to 7 years | Body height up to 110 cm | Scale approx. 47-49 cm |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1/2 Size | Age 5 to 9 years | Body height 110 to 130 cm | Scale approx. 53-55 cm |
| 3/4 Size | Age 8 to 11 years | Body height 120 to 140 cm | Scale approx. 59-62 cm |
| 7/8 Size | Age 10 to 13 years | Body height 130 to 150 cm | Scale approx. 62-63 cm |
| 4/4 Size | Age from approx. 14 years | Body height from approx. 150 cm | Scale approx. 63-65 cm |

I had bought the guitar for the birthday of my girlfriend's son who turned 5 on April 1, normally the package would be delivered Thursday 29/3/18 between 12:35 and 13:35, my girlfriend immediately stopped working and went home to wait from 9:30, at 13:00 I get an email that the package was not delivered!!! Which is weird because my girlfriend was at home from 10:00 until when I got the mail, then they called DPD, where they said they rang the doorbell but nobody answered and I would get a mail when they would come back...
Since the son was always asking where the guitar was, my girlfriend followed the tracking of the park,
This morning Tuesday, April 3rd, appeared on the tracking that the package would be delivered between 8:35 and 9:35, so my friend and her son went outside on the street to make sure not to miss the mail!
I get an email at 8:39 that the package will be delivered today 3/4/18 between 11:20 and 12:20, I look at the tracking and it says that the package will be delivered between 10:35 and 11:35...
The son of my girlfriend wants them to wait outside to be sure not to miss the package!
At 11:00 she checks the tracking again and gets the message that it will be between 11:10 and 11:40.
At 11:36 she checks again and it says that the package could not be delivered..!!!!!!
My friend and her son have been standing outside in the street from 8:30 till 11:40 and no DPD van has been by!!!!
We immediately called DPD, they told us that the package was not in the van and that it could not be delivered!
What kind of crap is that!!! I'm sure they have not been along Thursday 29/3 either!!!
I then asked by phone how we would solve this , they would do their best to come and deliver it today 3/4/18 still ....
Have not heard anything more ...
And just now I see on tracking
Ihr DPD Zusteller:
Wir haben Sie zweimal verpasst. Bitte nutzen Sie die Änderungs-Optionen, ansonsten geht das Paket nach 7 Tagen an den Versender zurück.
I find that scandalous !!!!!
I try to select a delivery point and then I get the message that this is not possible!
I am very disappointed not so much for me, but for my girlfriend's son who was looking forward to getting his first guitar.
The poor guy stood there for three hours with his mom in the cold, only to be told that the guitar wasn't coming after all...
The happiness of a child is worth gold... but the disappointment and the sadness I wish nobody...!!!!
I WOULD LIKE TO GET MY MONEY BACK !!!!
So that I can go with him personally to a store, where we are not fooled!
Kind regards
Danny van Capellen

The bag smells a little strong I hope the Durchlüften something reduces the smell.
The shipping was fast and without complications. The guitar was well packed.

Questions about product
Question by Heike Grodde on 20.01.2019
Hello,
is it possible to attach a strap to this guitar?
Greetings
H. Grodde
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
On the lower side of the body is a strap pin to which you can conveniently attach any guitar strap with 2 eyelets. Simply attach the upper end to the headstock with a lace.
