Chen Xin, the painter of "Snow," was born in 2004 in Shanghai, China, with Down syndrome. She loved everything beautiful, like painting, singing, dancing, writing, and playing musical instruments. Sadly, acute leukemia took her young life in 2021. This ukulele represents her artistic legacy, and Flight is proud that her artwork will live forever on their ukulele.

The Flight Snow Ultra Travel Ukulele is a soprano travel ukulele made of polycarbonate-reinforced plastic with a thin, resonant, and responsive soundboard and fluorocarbon strings that produce a bright and powerful tone. Featuring a zero fret and precision tuners, the instrument offers ideal mechanics and excellent intonation for a pleasant playing experience, and the slotted bridge makes string changes easier.

Materials and Construction from the Space Age

The Flight Ultra Soprano Ukulele is made from polycarbonate-reinforced plastic, ultrasonically welded together. The ukulele has an ultra-thin, lattice-braced top, making it one of the loudest plastic-based ukuleles on the market.

The neck and fretboard of the Flight Ultra Soprano Travel Ukulele are made from the same polycarbonate-reinforced plastic as the rest of the ukulele. The material resists temperature and humidity fluctuations and features excellent mechanics. Say goodbye to sharp fret ends and warped necks!
