Body
The Flight DUC323 EQ is crafted from laminated mahogany. Mahogany is a hardwood that has been used for centuries to make high-quality musical instruments. Its color can vary widely, from a pale pink-brown to a darker red-brown, and it tends to darken with age. But don’t be misled by the "plain" look of the mahogany wood—mahogany ukuleles, especially those with a carved back like the DUC323, can really roar beautifully!
Neck and Fretboard
The neck and fretboard of the DUC323 EQ are made from African Okoume and walnut. This excellent combination guarantees stable intonation across the entire fretboard, is gentle on your hands, and looks great too.
Pickup and Preamp
The preamp/equalizer is a device that lets you connect a ukulele to an amplifier. The preamp includes a tuner, so you no longer have to wonder where you left your tuner the night before! Most importantly, this little device gives you the freedom to plug in wherever and whenever you want!
