15 Watt Tube Amplifier with Footswitch!
The EVH 5150III LBXII is a 15-watt guitar amplifier delivering extraordinary and powerful performance. This 2.0 version of the tiny, easy-to-transport "Lunchbox" amp features the famous green and blue channels, offering a sparkling clean tone and a punchy drive that inspires unlimited artistic expression.
Equipped with four ECC83S (12AX7) preamp tubes and two EL84 power tubes, the LBXII also boasts dual concentric gain and volume controls for precise and independent channel adjustment, along with shared EQ presence and resonance controls.
Choose a crystal-clear tone or crank the gain for a bluesier vibe on the green channel, and when you want to shake the house, hit the footswitch and select the blue channel for a tight, compressed overdrive tone with sustain that lasts for days.
With its exceptional build, wild sound, and distinctive style featuring a black control panel and white metal grille with the iconic EVH stripe motif, the LBXII is a phenomenal amplifier.
The Little Screamer
The EVH 5150 15W LBXII Head is a compact amp that delivers a ton of Eddie-style sound and attitude—from impressive gain levels to sparkling highs and defined lows.
This easy-to-carry amp offers two distinct channels. The clean channel (green) sings with pure, crystal-clear cleans or even punchy gain for bluesy vibes, while the crunch channel (blue) impresses with a crisp, compressed overdrive tone and endless sustain for epic solos.
Crank It!
In the bedroom, you can use the 1/4 power switch to reduce the output to 3.5 watts for headphone use without disturbing the rest of the household, while studio and live musicians can use the same feature to crank the headphones for a squashed, spongy tone.
Sound for On The Go
Four JJ ECC83S (12AX7) preamp tubes deliver a rich high-gain tone that embodies the powerful sound of Van Halen at its limits. Two JJ EL84 power tubes create Eddie’s tonal character with a modern twist, offering refined overtones similar to early British tube amps.
Footswitch
Switching from Clean (channel 1) to Crunch (channel 2) is just a step away with the one-button footswitch.
