15-Watt Tube Amplifier With Footswitch!
The EVH 5150III LBXII is a 15-watt guitar amplifier that delivers extraordinary, powerful performance. This 2.0 version of the tiny, easy-to-transport "lunchbox" amp features the famous green and blue channels, offering a sparkling clean tone and punchy gain that will inspire unlimited artistic expression.
Equipped with four ECC83S (12AX7) preamp tubes and two EL84 power tubes, the LBXII also features dual-concentric gain and volume controls for precise, independent control of each channel, as well as shared EQ presence and resonance controls.
Choose a crystal-clear tone or crank the gain for a bluesier edge on the green channel, and when you want to shake the house, hit the footswitch and switch to the blue channel for a tight, compressed overdrive with sustain that lasts for days.
With its exceptional build, wild sound, and unmistakable style — a black control panel and white metal grille with the iconic EVH stripe motif — the LBXII is a phenomenal amp.
The Little Screamer
The EVH 5150 15W LBXII Head is a small amp that delivers plenty of Eddie-esque tone and attitude — from an impressive amount of gain to sparkling highs and defined lows.
This easy-to-transport amp offers two distinct channels. The clean channel (green) sings with pure, crystal-clear cleans or even with driving gain for bluesy vibes, while the crunch channel (blue) delivers a snappy, compressed overdrive tone with endless sustain for epic solos.
Crank It!
In the bedroom you can use the 1/4-power switch to drop the amp to 3.5 watts so you don't disturb the rest of the household, while studio and live players can use the same function to crank the headphone output for a squeezed, mushy tone.
Sound for On the Go
Four JJ ECC83S (12AX7) preamp tubes deliver a rich high-gain tone that captures Van Halen's powerful sound at the edge. Two JJ EL84 power tubes produce Eddie's sonic character with a modern twist, offering refined overtones reminiscent of early British tube amps.
Footswitch
Switching from Clean (Channel 1) to Crunch (Channel 2) is just a stomp away with the single-button footswitch.
