Marshall MG30GFX - The Little Marshall for the Band!

Whether in the practice room or at home, the MG30GFX not only sounds great but with its rich features might even spark some envy among your bandmates. It offers excellent sound quality and is fully programmable in all controls and switching functions (except master volume).

It comes equipped with the most popular digital effects (2 Reverbs, Delay, Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, and Octaver), which can be controlled via an external, programmable footswitch. This makes it appealing even to pros looking for a small, affordable, and extremely versatile studio combo.

Four Channels for Stylistic Freedom

The MG30GFX features four independent analog channels that can be perfectly matched since all parameters are freely programmable. The four channels are controlled by the same knobs, keeping the amp’s interface simple, intuitive, and clear. For Clean, Crunch, OD1, and OD2, the tone controls operate in separate frequency ranges, allowing completely independent and distinct core sounds.

When the amp is in "Preset" mode, all settings for each channel are saved separately, preserving the last channel setting including its effects. In "Manual" mode, switching channels changes between the current settings. The "Direct Sound Access" feature allows direct access to the current sounds in both modes at any time.

Classic Adjustable Master Volume

Originally designed as a practice combo for home use, the MG30GFX is so practical that it can easily be used on stage. The master volume remains classically adjustable to keep volume independent of the programmed settings always under control. For more headroom, an active monitor or PA can be connected to the emulated headphone jack.

Reference-Quality Effect Sounds

The MG30GFX’s digital effects set a new standard in sound quality – Chorus, Phaser, Flanger, Octaver, and Delay easily compare to high-end current studio gear. Each effect can be enhanced with outstanding reverb.

The intelligent delay adjustment is very practical: when switching to a channel without delay, the echo fades out naturally; switching to a sound with the same delay time crossfades the delay level; switching to a channel with a different delay time immediately activates the new delay setting. A similar adjustment is integrated for the separately adjustable reverb. The delay time is stored via tap function and displayed by an LED.
