Since the 1930s the L-00 has stood for a focused, nuanced acoustic voice with quick response and clear articulation. The more compact body shape with a narrower waist produces tight bass, present mids and controlled dynamics that shine in fingerstyle, blues, folk and songwriting. At the same time the sound remains versatile enough to sit confidently in many other styles.

Solid Tonewoods for Lively Sound

The solid Sitka spruce top works with a solid mahogany back and sides to create a warm, open fundamental character with good projection and fine detail reproduction. The traditional scalloped X bracing supports quick response and a lively tonal development. As a result the instrument reacts sensitively to your picking strength and renders both gentle passages and powerful strumming cleanly.

Comfortable Neck and Familiar Playing Feel

The Utile neck with a SlimTaper profile sits comfortably in the hand and enables fluid position shifts as well as a relaxed grip across the whole fingerboard. The rosewood fingerboard with a 12" radius offers a balanced mix of traditional feel and modern playability. 19 frets and simple mother-of-pearl dot inlays underline the classic style of this model.

Practical Equipment for Stage and Studio

The rectangular rosewood bridge is fitted with a TUSQ saddle, while the nut and bridge pins are also made of TUSQ. This supports clean intonation and stable vibration transfer. Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners provide reliable tuning stability and precise tuning. Thanks to the L.R. Baggs Element Bronze undersaddle pickup with active preamp and soundhole volume control, the guitar is ready for recording, rehearsal and live use right away.
