What’s So Bad About Neon Tubes?
Fluorescent tubes, commonly also known as neon tubes, are found almost everywhere in our daily environment today, such as offices, warehouses, workshops, etc. Of course they offer an advantage over traditional incandescent lamps. But unfortunately there are downsides too, for example high electricity costs and long warm-up times until the required light output is reached.
On top of that comes the filling with environmentally harmful gases and mercury, which makes disposal cumbersome. Regular replacement intervals also incur additional maintenance costs.
That’s Why Showlite LED Fluorescent Tubes Are the Better Choice!
The Showlite LEDs light up without switch-on delay. They are insensitive to frequent on/off switching. Flicker and the slow ramp-up typical of conventional neon tubes are eliminated with Showlite LED tubes.
Because of the extremely long lifetime of more than 50,000 hours, replacement intervals are reduced and maintenance costs fall significantly. In addition, the environment benefits because the service life is far longer than that of conventional neon tubes. The uniformly bright, flicker- and glare-free light also prevents fatigue even after extended use.
New Energy Label 2021
Since September 2021, the new energy label also applies to lamps. It no longer uses classes like "A+++" but ranges from "A" to "G". Note that no current device achieves the "A" or "B" classes. Looking ahead, new classifications were deliberately introduced here that should still be practical in 10 years.
This means that devices with an energy efficiency class "F" are comparable to the old class "A+". Of course, the power consumption of the devices has not increased as a result.
Simply Replace Existing Fluorescent Tubes!
Each tube is supplied with an LED starter, so installation in standard sockets is straightforward. During installation, simply replace the existing starter with the supplied starter. Installation instructions are included.
Color Temperature: Daylight White 4500K!
The daylight white tone is particularly suitable for providing excellent lighting conditions in workspaces, offices, basements, garages and storage rooms.
With the Showlite LED fluorescent tube the following energy savings compared with standard fluorescent tubes can be achieved; the exact value depends on the ballast used:
Standard fluorescent tube and ballast: 30 Watts + 6 to 12 Watts (power loss depending on ballast type EVG/KVG)
