What's So Bad About Fluorescent Tubes?
Fluorescent tubes, commonly known as neon tubes, are found today almost everywhere in our daily environment—offices, warehouses, workshops, etc. Of course they offer an advantage over conventional incandescent lamps. But they also have downsides, such as high electricity costs and long warm-up times before they reach full light output.
On top of that, they are filled with environmentally harmful gases and mercury, which makes disposal complicated. Regular replacement intervals also lead to additional maintenance costs.
Why Showlite LED Tubes Are the Better Choice!
Showlite LEDs light up instantly with no start delay. They are resilient to frequent switching on and off. The flicker and slow warm-up typical of conventional fluorescent tubes are eliminated with Showlite LED tubes.
Thanks to the extremely long lifespan of more than 50,000 hours, replacement intervals are reduced and maintenance costs drop significantly. This also benefits the environment, since the lifespan is far greater than that of conventional fluorescent tubes. The uniformly bright, flicker- and glare-free light does not cause fatigue even after extended use.
New Energy Label 2021
Since September 2021, the new energy label also applies to lamps; it no longer uses classes like "A+++" but ranges from "A" to "G". It should be noted that no current device reaches the "A" or "B" classes. These new classifications were deliberately introduced with a view to the future so that they remain practical even in 10 years.
This means that devices with an energy efficiency class of "F" are comparable to the old "A+" class. Of course, this does not mean the devices consume more power.
Easily Replace Existing Fluorescent Tubes!
Each tube is supplied with an LED starter, so installation in standard sockets is straightforward. During installation, simply replace the existing starter with the supplied one. Installation instructions are included.

The daylight-white color temperature is particularly suitable for providing excellent lighting conditions in workrooms, offices, basements, garages and storage areas.
With the Showlite LED tube the following energy savings can be achieved compared to standard fluorescent tubes; the exact value depends on the ballast used:
Standard fluorescent tube and ballast: 18 watts + 5 to 10 watts (power loss depending on type: electronic/magnetic ballast)
