Developed alongside session guitarist and Andertons YouTube musician Peter Honoré, this signature model targets players who want characterful clean tones, warm rhythm sounds, and crisply defined overdrive in one expressive instrument.

Distinctive Design with a Well-Played Appearance

The DPT was designed from the ground up to Peter Honoré's specifications. Its distinctive contours blend classic influences with Chapman’s unmistakable design language. The alder body supports a balanced tonal picture with present mids, clear highs and a controlled bass range. The special Retrograde Satin finish combines matte and glossy properties and creates a tactile wood texture. As a result, the surface conveys straight from the factory the authentic character of an instrument that's been played for years, without resorting to artificially distressed finishes.

Comfortable Neck Modeled on His Personal Guitar

The bolt-on maple neck features a comfortable C profile, its shape captured from Peter Honoré's personal guitar. Together with the rosewood fretboard, a classic 9.5" radius and a 25.5" scale, it produces a familiar, controlled playing feel. The 22 narrow-tall nickel frets offer a pleasing mix of traditional touch and precise intonation. Bends, chord work and melodic lines all translate cleanly. Glow-in-the-dark side markers additionally improve orientation on poorly lit stages.

Custom Pickups for Warm and Clear Tones

Two specially voiced DPT Custom Wilkinson R Series single coils are the guitar's tonal centerpiece. The bridge pickup uses Alnico V magnets and measures 8 kOhm output, while the neck pickup is wound a bit lower at 7 kOhm. Both deliver warm, nuanced tones and keep a clear response even when pushed. The 3-way blade switch lets you quickly move between cutting bridge sounds, combined voicings and softer neck tones. A Sprague Orange Drop capacitor and a treble-bleed circuit support controlled tone shaping and retain important high-end when you roll back the volume.

Reliable Wilkinson Hardware

The Wilkinson bridge and six-in-line Wilkinson Vintage Deluxe split-shaft tuners deliver a functional, style-appropriate setup. The tuners, fitted with ivory-colored buttons, facilitate clean string changes and help maintain stable tuning. A 42 mm TUSQ nut improves even string spacing. Nickel hardware enhances the classic vibe and rounds off the practical package.
