Electrically, the RG565R relies on a passive HH pickup configuration. The neck houses an Ibanez Infinity R humbucker, while the bridge is fitted with a V8 humbucker. The combinations can be selected via a 5-way switch and are controlled by a volume and tone control each. This keeps the operation clear while offering different pickup combinations for rhythm and lead applications.
