The five-piece neck of maple and walnut features the exceptionally slim Super Wizard profile. At just 17 mm at the first fret and 19 mm at the twelfth fret, it’s engineered for fast position shifts and technically demanding playing. The satin polyurethane finish promotes a direct, fast feel. The neck is bolt-on and carries a bound rosewood fretboard with a shallow 430 mm radius. 24 jumbo frets give ample room for wide bends and fast runs across the entire range. White Sharktooth inlays emphasize the typical Ibanez aesthetic.

Infinity R And V8 Humbuckers

Electrically the RG565R uses a passive HH configuration. An Ibanez Infinity R humbucker sits at the neck while a V8 humbucker handles the bridge position. The combination is selectable via a 5-way switch and is controlled by one volume and one tone control, keeping operation straightforward while offering a variety of pickup combinations for both rhythm and lead applications.

Edge Tremolo And Locking Nut

The Edge Tremolo is one of the signature components of classic Ibanez RG models and allows wide pitch modulation. Paired with the locking nut, it creates a system tuned for intensive tremolo techniques. Gotoh tuners round out the hardware package. The 25.5" scale length follows the established RG concept, pairing defined string tension with a familiar playing feel. The guitar ships with a .009-.042 string set in standard E tuning.
