Fender B4 LTD 70TH ANNIE 54 STRAT JRN-WF2TSB Custom Shop Limited Edition 70th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic Electric Guitar in Wide-Fade 2-Color Sunburst Including Case!
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Stratocaster—the platinum anniversary of the world’s greatest electric guitar—the Fender Custom Shop presents the Limited Edition 70th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster. Its two-piece ash body (with offset seam toward the treble side) resonates with singing highs, sweet mids, and tight lows, featuring a beautiful Wide Fade Two-Color Sunburst finish in the Custom Shop’s "Journeyman Relic" treatment.
The one-piece quartersawn maple neck sports a special Soft-V profile for the 70th anniversary, based on an incredible Strat neck from July 1954. This is complemented by a vintage fretboard with a compound radius (7.25" to 9.5") with 21 medium vintage frets and a 1.625" bone nut. Three hand-wound '54 Strat pickups from the Custom Shop deliver the classic Strat tone with clear, bell-like highs, routed through vintage '54 Strat wiring and a five-way switch.
Additional premium features and authentic first-year Strat appointments include a single-ply white pickguard and a backplate with serial number, white ABS pickup covers and knobs styled after 1954, a Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, vintage-style tuners, a disc-style string retainer, a special 70th anniversary Stratocaster neck plate, a luxurious embroidered hard shell case, a special "Case Candy" kit, and a certificate of authenticity.
