As part of the "Inspired by Gibson" collection, the Epiphone SG Custom has been refreshed and is better than ever. The legendary SG has long been a favorite among musicians of all genres. Like the Custom version of the Les Paul, which Les himself designed as a dressier "tuxedo" version of his legendary solidbody model, the SG Custom also features the premium appointments found on all Custom models.

The Epiphone SG Custom has a contoured mahogany body with double cutaways, providing excellent access to all 22 frets. The set mahogany neck contributes to the model’s famous sustain. The neck features a 1960 SlimTaper C profile, which isn’t quite as thin as some SlimTaper neck profiles but remains fast and comfortable to play. It’s fitted with a bound ebony fretboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and adorned with custom pearloid block inlays. The 12" fretboard radius strikes a perfect balance, comfortable for open chords near the nut and string bends higher up the neck.

The Epiphone SG Custom is decked out with gold hardware throughout, including gold inserts on the black top-hat knobs. The bound headstock is equipped with Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners and decorated with the Epiphone logo and a custom split diamond mother-of-pearl inlay. The Grover tuners, Graph Tech nut, and fully adjustable Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece work together to ensure optimal tuning stability and intonation.

The Epiphone SG Custom is loaded with a pair of Epiphone ProBucker Custom Humbucker pickups, delivering all the vintage-approved SG tones you expect. Each pickup has its own volume and tone control, plus a three-way pickup selector switch that lets you use each pickup individually or blend them in any ratio to suit your mood and musical moment.
