The Epiphone SG Custom from the new Inspired-by-Gibson Collection replicates the legendary SG with LP Custom-style binding from the 1960s, which became a hard rock and heavy metal classic. The SG debuted in 1961 as a replacement for the Les Paul, which was temporarily discontinued due to low sales. The SG Custom features an ebony fretboard, LP Custom-style inlays, chrome hardware, and Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers with CTS electronics.
