Lightning strikes again with the latest collaboration between Epiphone and the Gibson Custom Shop. The 1958 Korina Flying V, crafted in partnership with the Gibson Custom Shop, is Epiphone’s stunning replica of one of the most iconic and valuable vintage guitars ever made.
It offers guitarists everywhere authentic details of the 1958 Flying V at a groundbreaking price. Like the extremely rare original Gibson models from 1958, it features a solid Korina body and a Korina neck with a long neck tenon and a 1958 Flying V neck profile. It also sports an Indian Laurel fretboard and gold hardware.
The electronics are top-notch as well, with Gibson Burstbucker 2 and Burstbucker 3 pickups wired with individual volume controls and a master tone control using CTS pots and a Mallory capacitor, plus a Switchcraft 3-way pickup selector switch and a 1/4" output jack. An Epiphone x Gibson Custom logo proudly adorns the back of the headstock, and a hard case is included.
