Der Blitz schlägt wieder ein mit der neuesten Zusammenarbeit zwischen Epiphone und dem Gibson Custom Shop. Die 1958 Korina Flying V, die in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Gibson Custom Shop hergestellt wurde, ist Epiphones beeindruckende Nachbildung einer der berühmtesten und wertvollsten Vintage-Gitarren, die jemals gebaut wurden.
Sie bietet Gitarristen überall authentische Details der 1958 Flying V zu einem bahnbrechenden Preis. Wie die äußerst seltenen Originalmodelle von Gibson aus dem Jahr 1958 verfügt sie über einen massiven Korina-Korpus und einen Korina-Hals mit langem Halszapfen und einem Flying V-Halsprofil von 1958. Sie ist außerdem mit einem Griffbrett aus indischem Lorbeer und goldener Hardware ausgestattet.
Die Elektronik ist ebenfalls erstklassig, mit Gibson Burstbucker 2 und Burstbucker 3 Pickups, die mit individuellen Lautstärkereglern und einem Master-Tonregler mit CTS-Potis und einem Mallory-Kondensator verdrahtet sind, sowie einem Switchcraft 3-Wege-Pickup-Wahlschalter und einer 1/4" Ausgangsbuchse. Ein Epiphone x Gibson Custom-Logo auf der Rückseite der Kopfplatte ist ebenfalls stolz zu sehen und ein Hartschalenkoffer ist ebenfalls enthalten.
