An Energetic and Captivating Drum Experience in a Compact Format!
The DTX6 series relies on the DTX-PRO module with innovative KIT MODIFIERS, which not only fuels your creativity but also delivers outstanding performance in a compact format. The original Yamaha TCS (Textured Cellular Silicone) head surface, used in flagship models, combines fascinatingly realistic drum sounds with natural room ambiences recorded in world-famous studios, ensuring an authentic playing experience. The DTX6 series is recommended for all drummers who want to have fun, play professionally, need a compact kit, and want to easily transfer their skills to an acoustic drum set.
Authentic Sounds That Will Excite You
From the individual tuning of the drum sound to the recording room’s acoustics, no compromises were made during the recordings of the individual instrumental sounds. The DTX-PRO is perfectly tailored to drummers’ needs and guarantees a performance with maximum expressiveness.

The KIT MODIFIER knobs on the DTX-PRO ignite drummers’ creativity with an unlimited range of possibilities.

Features
A Detailed Reproduction of Your Drum Performance
The DTX6 series features three-zone pads for snare, crash*, and ride. The snare model offers the main articulations: head, closed rim, and open rim. The cymbals have zones for edge, bow, and bell response, plus the option to manually choke at the edge. Overall, the technology used ensures a wide range of performance techniques, allowing drummers to improve both accuracy and expression.
*DTX6K-X crash only as a single-zone model
A More Musical Ride Cymbal
The ride cymbal pad offers different sensor zones that trigger various sound variations depending on the position. In practice, combined with the high-resolution and unusually long samples of the DTX-PRO, detailed cymbal playing can be accurately reproduced.
A Bass Drum That Will Captivate You
The KP90 kick pad features Yamaha’s unique multi-layered cushion structure, which delivers the perfect blend of feel and comfort regardless of stroke strength. Measuring 7.5" diagonally and secured against slipping with appropriate spikes, the pad can also be comfortably and stably played with a double bass pedal.
Set Up and Ready!
The completely redesigned RS6 rack system offers you the freedom of a customizable and robustly built drum rack that requires little maintenance beyond initial setup. The left side of the rack is open to provide ample space for both the hi-hat stand and a double pedal with performance. The acoustic-look L-shaped feet also ensure optimal stability and durability.
"Everything a Drummer Needs!"
The DTX-PRO module offers the ability to communicate not only with other technical equipment but also with the outside world right out of the box. Via USB, you can both receive and send MIDI data, as well as exchange digital audio signals with a computer or smart device. The device also features a MIDI OUT port supporting data transmission to external devices. Additionally, up to 14 pads or drum triggers can be connected to the module via trigger inputs, making the creation of a hybrid kit from electronic and acoustic drums a breeze.
An App That Makes Recording, Editing, and Sharing Content Easy
The DTX-PRO module is compatible with the iOS/Android app Rec'n'Share, which supports you not only in playing along with tracks but also efficiently practicing your songs. You can easily change the tempo of the backing track, add a click track, or loop individual sections. These features make practicing your favorite songs even more effective. The Rec'n'Share app can also simply record your own playing in audio format or combined as video using the camera of the connected smart device. Videos can then be edited, cut, and shared directly within the app along with the audio mix via your favorite channels.
