Design

Yamaha knows everything there is to know about drums. This allowed us to develop a compact design without compromising the essence of drums. You can freely adjust the position and angle of the cymbals, snare, and toms and play in the correct posture. The DTX is equipped with a Yamaha foot pedal, highly popular among professional drummers, and faithfully reproduces the various sounds of a drum kit, including cymbal choke and rimshot. The components can be height-adjusted for anyone, including small children.

Sound

The DTX402 sounds combine years of experience in developing authentic, high-quality drum sounds with ten built-in drum kits, including acoustic effects and electronic sounds to help you find your perfect voice. You can easily create your own kits and choose from premium sounds. Give your musical expression a voice with the expressive DTX.

Setup

The simple assembly concept streamlines even the toughest tasks, reducing effort and time for setup, for example before a gig, allowing you to start playing almost immediately. The sturdy rack is made of steel. It is also compact, lightweight, and foldable, so you can play wherever you want.

Training

The DTX features ten built-in training functions only possible with an e-drum kit. These include the pad gate function, suitable for beginners and gradually improving your skills over time; the rhythm gate function, which fosters precise rhythm sense (fundamental for good drumming); and the fast blast function, which measures stroke speed. There is also a scoring function to objectively assess your skills. Use these comprehensive features to expand your expressive power as a drummer.

App

The iOS/Android app DTX402 Touch enables enjoyable and easy-to-understand practice. Play in challenge mode with built-in practice songs like a game. Once you complete the final stage, Yamaha awards you a drummer certificate. Or use the editor function to customize the drum kits. The DTX402 series also works with the iOS app Rec'n'Share, which helps you practice and play along with your favorite music and quickly share your results with friends and acquaintances.

PC Connection

Connect the module to your computer via USB and create audio data from the sounds generated by the DTX. Integrate the module into the DAW of your choice for your music production.

Active Speaker

The KAM-12 not only delivers the usual brilliant sound but the modern version is even equipped with a Bluetooth® receiver. The speaker can be operated standing, lying down, or mounted on a stand, with unlimited numbers of these active speakers connectable. All controls and connections are conveniently accessible from the front – a musician’s delight. The built-in amplifier powers the 12" speaker and 3" tweeter with a total of 120 watts. That’s enough power to deliver a clear, distortion-free monitor signal even on an acoustic drum kit. The 3-band equalizer lets you tailor the sound to your personal taste.

Drum Throne

This throne features a round seat with leather-look finish and stands on three non-slip rubber feet. It can be set unusually low, making it especially suitable for very young drummers. With a removable seat and foldable legs, this seat is quick and easy to transport.

Comfortable Stereo Headphones

The KDJ-1000 delivers full, balanced sound with rich bass reproduction and clear highs. It offers plenty of volume yet clean and precise stereo imaging. Thanks to the low impedance, the KDJ-1000 can handle extreme volume levels on low-signal inputs. The softly padded, wide headband is length-adjustable. The entire headphone folds for space-saving storage. For mixing desk work, the comfortable ear cups can rotate 180° for classic single-ear monitoring. The thick, soft padding of the circumaural cups also provides good external noise isolation.

School

The "Beginner" school from drumfreaks.de includes the most important basics of drumming in the Kirstein edition. It starts with the correct stick grip and ends with the first proper grooves. Detailed videos accompany you on your journey to becoming a drummer.

Sticks

The XDrum sticks offer pleasant playability and excellent sound characteristics at an incredible price. Their grippy surface prevents annoying slipping while the extra hard wood ensures long durability.

Instrument Cable

Pronomic instrument cables are ideal for guitarists, bassists, or keyboard players. The flexible cables feature screw-on metal jack plugs that allow access to the solder points or can be replaced individually if needed. Thanks to high-quality shielding, the cables are protected against interference over long distances, and the common noise caused by foot tapping found in cheap cables is absent in Pronomic cables.
