Large Brown Heritage Spoon models have been handcrafted in Canada since 1997.
The large model (also known as "Boite-a-Bois") produces a beautiful deep tone. The spoon is carved from premium Canadian maple wood. The flat bottom cavity creates a rich tone that resonates with a gentle striking motion. It is unique yet easy to master, and there is a wide range of styles and techniques to explore. (see video) The special shape of this model allows for faster beats and quick switching between different pitches and volumes.
