The Meinl Sonic Energy Binaural Therapy tuning forks are designed to specifically target different brainwave states and influence them intentionally. Pairing the Masterfork at 128 Hz with the Beta tuning fork at 150 Hz creates a binaural effect in which the brain perceives a third frequency from the difference between the two tones. This perceived frequency helps you reach a clearly defined mental state optimized for focus, attention, and analytical thinking.

To apply the method, both tuning forks are activated and held to the left and right ear respectively. The brain processes the slight frequency differences from each side and synchronizes to the resulting difference frequency. In the beta variant this falls in the 12 Hz to 30 Hz range, a frequency band associated with wakefulness, concentration, and mental activity.
