Popular D Kurd Tuning
The D Kurd tuning (fundamental 440 Hz) is one of the best-selling scales. The central note in the middle of the handpan is D3; arranged around it in a circle are the notes A3, Bb3, C4, D4, E4, F4, G4 and A4. In addition, this handpan has three bottom notes—C3, F3 and G3—that increase the sonic variety. Especially the C3, which lies below the fundamental D3, creates particularly varied moments.
With its bright-sounding D minor scale, the D Kurd lets you play highly varied melodies ranging from calm and meditative to melancholic, powerful and joyful. The model is therefore suitable as a solo instrument as well as for playing together with other handpans or instruments such as tongue drums, guitar or percussion.
Microfiber Cloth
The Kirstein microfiber cloth, with its especially soft and smooth surface, ensures optimal dust pickup and leaves surfaces perfectly cleaned. Even extremely delicate finishes can be wiped scratch-free with this cloth, because its overlocked edge is very fine and delicate. Due to its relatively low water absorption, the Kirstein microfiber cloth is excellent for dry use.
Handpan Stand
The Sela handpan stand is a lightweight, foldable playing stand specially developed for handpans and percussion instruments. The height of the handpan stand is 61 cm, making it ideal for comfortable seated playing. At the same time, the stand increases freedom of movement. The attached cords allow simple, stepless height adjustment.
