Popular D Kurd Tuning
The D Kurd tuning (fundamental frequency 440 Hz) is among the best-selling scales. The central note in the middle of the handpan is D3, and arranged in a circle around it are the notes A3, Bb3, C4, D4, E4, F4, G4 and A4. With its bright-sounding D minor scale, the D Kurd lets you play highly varied melodies—from calm and meditative or melancholic to powerful and joyful.
The model is therefore well suited as a solo instrument as well as for playing together with other handpans or instruments such as tongue drums, guitar or percussion.
Microfiber Cloth
The Kirstein microfiber cloth picks up dust optimally thanks to its particularly soft, smooth surface and leaves surfaces perfectly clean. Even extremely delicate finishes can be cleaned effortlessly and scratch-free with this cloth, because its edging is very fine and delicate. Due to its relatively low water absorption, the Kirstein microfiber cloth is excellent for dry use.
Handpan Stand
The Sela handpan stand is a lightweight, foldable playing stand designed specifically for handpans and percussion instruments. With a height of 61 cm, it is ideal for comfortable seated playing and increases freedom of movement. The attached cords let you adjust the height easily and continuously.
