Welcome to the era of Vibra steel! What makes Schlagwerk’s material special? Over the past 22 years, carbon and stainless steel have been all the rage. Schlagwerk’s Vibra steel alloy was chosen for its natural rust protection and a better, clear, ceramic tone. It produces greater sound volume and is significantly harder than conventional stainless steel. The result is an instrument with excellent playability that is also robust with lasting sound quality.
