Material

Welcome to the era of Vibra Steel! What makes Schlagwerk’s material special? Over the last 22 years, carbon and stainless steel have been the trend. Schlagwerk’s Vibra Steel alloy was chosen for its natural rust protection and a better, clear, ceramic tone. It produces greater sound volume and is significantly harder than conventional stainless steel. The result is an instrument with excellent playability that is also robust with lasting tonal quality.
