Steel Tongue Drum with Octaved Tones!
The Meinl Sonic Energy 10" Medium Octave Steel Tongue Drum is crafted from high-quality stainless steel. Its eight sound fields each produce tones in two octaves. This creates a wonderful, meditative sound reminiscent of a handpan.
A sound hole on the bottom of the drum can be sealed with a silicone plug to achieve an even more compact tone. Three silicone feet on the underside prevent the drum from slipping while playing. The Medium Octave Steel Tongue Drum can be played with fingers or mallets. To start playing, simply place the instrument on a flat surface or comfortably on your lap.
The drum comes with two wooden mallets featuring softly wrapped rubber heads and a beautiful zippered carrying bag with handle.
