The Meinl Sonic Energy Sensory Handpans are elaborately handcrafted, each one a unique instrument. They produce clear, pure tones when played by hand. The sound is pleasant, calming and relaxing, making them suitable for a wide range of uses, from live performances to therapeutic work.
Stainless-steel handpans are easy to play, offer long sustain and provide a wide dynamic range. Each handpan is tuned with a central note and additional tones arranged around it, so it performs beautifully both as a solo instrument and in an ensemble. They feature two sound openings: one facing the player and one facing the audience. Important note: Because each instrument undergoes a heating process during manufacture, natural color variations may occur.
