The Meinl Sonic Energy Sensory Handpan is meticulously and precisely handcrafted from high-quality stainless steel. This allows you to draw out its heavenly, room-filling sounds. The attractive vintage gold finish blends harmoniously into the overall look and catches the eye even before playing.

This Sensory Handpan has a diameter of 22" and is tuned to the popular D Kurd scale (A4/a' 440 Hz) with 10 tones. Anyone can play this instrument and create beautiful sounds even without prior knowledge, as all tones sound harmonious together. The pleasantly deep fundamental tone in the center is surrounded by nine tone fields that produce a pure and soothing sound. On the underside of the Sensory Handpan, there are two sound holes pointing in opposite directions to deliver a realistic sound image to both the player and the listeners.

All Sensory Handpans come with two removable sound tubes that let you modify the instrument’s tonal characteristics to your liking. The longer sound tube is placed opposite the lower tones, and the shorter one opposite the higher tones. With its intense, wonderful sound, this handpan is perfect for sound journeys, meditation, or simply calming the mind in the morning or evening.

Thanks to its fundamental tuning of 440 Hz, it pairs wonderfully with other instruments. The package includes a sturdy stainless steel protective cover, a soft storage cover, and a durable, padded transport bag with synthetic lining, adjustable backpack straps, and a stable carrying handle.
