Traditional Wind Gong - Powerful Sound with Long Sustain!
The Meinl Sonic Energy Wind Gongs are traditionally handcrafted in China using a special bronze alloy. These gongs are also known as Feng or Sun Gongs. Their shape is almost flat, which allows the gong’s vibration to spread extremely widely while maintaining a long resonance. The tonal character is predominantly deep, and when played more forcefully, it beautifully unfolds with rushing overtones. This gong comes with a mallet matched to the gong size.
